News Updated!-Mother facing jail time for not vaccinating son

This is a huge violation of rights.

Detroit, Michigan this mother is facing jail if she does not vaccinate her child. The judge has sided with the father who wants them done, and she only has until October 11, to get them done.

This is a horrible nightmare for this poor mother. It is sad that the courts side with forcing vaccinations.

I am not sure what the father's reasonings are in that particular case, and I am not saying the father has nefarious reasons..

I do however, wish to mention that there is a growing problem where the parents agree to delay/ do selective/ or not do vaccines, but when a breakup or divorce happens, the vaccines become a power play card. Vaccinating the children can be a weapon of power to hurt the significant other, or a card to sway custody. It can also be used as a card of blackmail to influence child support agreements, etc.

Please think about these things before having children with anyone. No one starts out thinking that their significant other would stoop to such a low as to use the kid's vaccination as a weapon. It is especially heartbreaking if this is done even with the knowledge that a child has already had bad reactions, and injury, or may be prone to them. It is hard to think that someone who is supposed to be a loving parent would care more about hurting the other parent at the expense of their child, but things like this do happen.

Please give deep thought to this matter, and perhaps consult a lawyer on if and how you can protect your future child, before a marriage takes place.

Update: Mother who refused to bring son's vaccinations up to date sentenced to 7 days in jail

Not only was she sentenced to 7 days in jail, the judge ordered temporary custody to the father to be able to get the kids up to date on vaccines!
