    This show talks about Lt. Col. Tim Gardipee who spent 32 years serving in the army. Just before retirement, Mr. Gardipee became paralyzed from the neck down.

    No this was not from some terrible terrorist explosion, and it was not from a wound in battle. No, just before his retirement, ...he was given one last flu shot.

    It's good that the reporter seems to be wrestling with the potential consequences of vaccination. All he needs to do is dig a little deeper to realize that the flu shot isn't anywhere near as effective as it's marketed to be and that 326 - 652 people (based on the one or two in one million estimate mentioned in the story) are being sacrificed on the altar of a perceived but ultimately fictitious greater good.
